Episode 43: Setria

Hi, I’m Shane from Path Forward Formulator and welcome to 3Minute Thursday, where we demonstrate the speed and efficiency of our platform while formulating with our partners’ ingredients. If you haven’t already had a demo of our platform, just click the link in the post above to schedule yours and we’ll show you what it’s all about. Today, we’re working with Cetria® Glutathione from our friends at Kiwa—a powerhouse ingredient often referred to as the master antioxidant. It's widely used in antioxidant support, detox, liver health, immune function, and even skin health.

We’ll start by creating a standalone formula using a hard-shell, powder-filled capsule. Once we go to the ingredients tab and search for Cetria, it appears pre-programmed in the system. We’ll enter a 250 mg dose. The system instantly calculates cost on the right, and the supplement fact sheet is auto-generated. Let’s go ahead and save that formula.

Next, we’ll duplicate this capsule and build a detox/liver support version. We’ll change the dosage form to a single-layer tablet, one tablet per serving. Our Cetria glutathione is already in place, so now we’ll build out a liver support blend. We’ll add milk thistle extract, dandelion root, burdock root extract, ginger extract, and finish with activated charcoal. Everything except the Cetria goes into the support blend. We check the fact sheet, confirm everything’s formatted correctly, and save.

From there, we duplicate again—this time to make a multivitamin version. We remove the liver support blend and instead add ARGEN HIMYM from Organetics. When we review the facts panel, all micronutrient values and daily values have been calculated automatically. ARGEN HIMYM and Cetria glutathione now appear in the B3 section of the label. We save this version as well.

Lastly, let’s build an immune support formula. We’ll add vitamin A at 900 mcg, vitamin D at 40 mcg, vitamin E at 15 mg, and vitamin C at 120 mg. Again, the system handles all DV calculations. Cetria glutathione remains in the B3 section, as it should.

So now, in just minutes, we’ve created four variations—all centered on Cetria glutathione from Kiwa: a standalone capsule, a detox support tablet, a multivitamin, and an immune support formula. To find sourcing and supplier contact info, just export the specification sheet and scroll to the supplier section where you’ll find Cetria glutathione and Kiwa’s details.

That’s it—fast, flexible, and efficient formulation using Path Forward Formulator. Thanks for watching, and we’ll see you next time on 3Minute Thursday.
