Today on 3-Minute Thursday, I want to create a powder-filled capsule formula for focus, featuring Oru Focus — an organic mushroom blend — as our hero ingredient from our friends at Organetics. Let's jump right into building the formula. We'll start by choosing our dosage form, first selecting the formulation type: powder-filled capsule. Next, we’ll set the serving size to two capsules per serving, with 30 servings per container. Then we’ll choose a standard cap and use an HPMC polymer. Finally, we'll use the excipient generator, setting it to clean label by RIBUS with a specialty base. Now it’s time to add ingredients and build our formula, since we already have the system ready to go. We'll begin with Oru Focus at the recommended dose of 250 mg. Then we'll add GKO at 100 mg, lemon balm at 75 mg, Rhodiola at 50 mg, and finally saffron at 28 mg. Looking at the supplement facts box, everything is formatted correctly and looks great.
