Episode 4: Amlexin

Hi, I'm Shane. Welcome back to our 3minute Thursday series, where we demonstrate the capabilities of our app and build formulas in 3 minutes or less. Today, we are going to create a joint health product for cartilage support featuring Amlexin from our friends at Unigine.

We want this formula to stand out. We want it to be visually appealing. So let's go ahead and start with a capsule in capsule formulation. Let's go ahead and choose 2 capsules per serving. Let's choose 30 servings per container with a standard cap. Let's choose HPMC and then let's move on to our excipient generator. This is something that is unique to our software and what it does is it creates a starting point for your excipient system normally used in ratios in an herbal based formula.

But again, the system will adjust those as it's going depending on the ingredients that you use. We're going to start by putting some algal oil in the outer capsule. Let's go ahead and do three hundred milligrams. We can also go ahead and add some vitamin D 3 oil to that and we'll put that in at 20 micrograms. Remember to watch on the right side as our costs are generating and our packaging size is being estimated.

Let's go ahead and put our cartilage support product in the inner cap. We're going to start with Amlexin from Unigine, which we know needs to be used at four hundred milligrams. So our product's really going to be driven by the Amlexin ingredient, but we're going to go ahead and put in some Boswellia. We'll put in a four to one ginger extract. and we'll put in a four to one turmeric extract. Each of those we're gonna put in at a supporting weight, and we're gonna let the Boswellia adjust for potency.

And we have the option to put those together in a blend, hit save, and it will format that way as you can see on the label, plus we've got our amlexin and our omega-threes that are in the outer capsule. Everything for other ingredients is populated below, including the capsules and the excipient blend. Let's go ahead and save this as a cartilage support product featuring Amlexin.

Once we save that, we can go in and view the record. Got a lot of information we can see here, but really what we're after is the specification sheet. And then we want to skip on down to the supplier section and note where to get the Amlexin from. And that is how you build a capsule-in-capsule cartilage support product in 3 minutes or less.
