Episode 36: Anderson Skin Health

[00:00-00:22]

Hi, I'm Jade and we're at Path Forward Formulator. I thought it'd be fun to do a Three Minute Thursday and show you how easy it is to build new products with the app in 3 minutes or less. Please click the link in the post above to schedule your demo. Today on 3 Minute Thursday, we are all about skin health thinking about springtime. Let's see what we can put together with Sarah Locke from Anderson Advanced Ingredients as the hero ingredient. Let's build the formula.

[00:22-00:55]

Starting with dosage form, let's choose capsule, hard shell, liquid filled with beadlets. We're going to choose serving size, 2 capsules, and 30 servings per container. We're going to choose standard cap, and finally, HPMC capsule polymer and layered beadlets. For ingredients, let's start with Saraloc from Andersen at 40 milligrams and put it in the beadlets. Then, we'll add five hundred milligrams of omega3 from algae to the outer capsules. We'll add biotin at 30 micrograms in the beadlet, along with niacinamide at 16 milligrams.

[00:55-01:13]

Then, we'll add vitamin E at 15 milligrams in the outer cap. And finally, to finish it off with vitamin C at 90 milligrams in the beadlet. Looking at the supplement facts, you'll see everything is formatted correctly, and we have one hundred percent DV of key vitamins, along with the seroloc and algae-based omega-threes.

[01:13-01:36]

We can leave the label like this, or split out the DHA and EPA as subcomponents. Let's save as draft and then bring up the ingredient details for the omega3. We'll go to the subcomponents tabs and add both EPA and DHA plus their percentages. We will slightly adjust the label name for the ingredient, save, go back to the drafts and verify how the subcomponents look.

[01:36-01:55]

Now let's save and export the specification sheet where we will look at the supplier section to view the contact details for Anderson from whom you can get the Sarah Law. That's it. Simple, clear, and automated. See you next time on 3 Minute Thursday. Please visit www.pathforwardformulator.com to find out more and schedule your demo.
